Hired In Michigan, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is seeking an experienced and persuasive Fundraiser to help expand funding for our workforce development programs, career expos, and job training initiatives. This is a high-impact opportunity to work independently, secure corporate and community partnerships, and directly influence the economic advancement of job seekers across Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and contact potential corporate sponsors, donors, and philanthropic partners
• Craft and present compelling fundraising pitches tailored to each prospect
• Manage donor communications, follow-ups, and relationship building
• Coordinate with leadership on fundraising campaigns and partnership strategies
• Track fundraising activity and report progress regularly

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in nonprofit fundraising, sponsorship sales, or business development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident networking with executives, decision-makers, and community leaders
• Knowledge of workforce development, economic empowerment, or employment services (preferred)
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
