Job summary

National Seating & Mobility is seeking a Funding Specialist to manage the complete funding transaction cycle, from readiness to final approval. You will verify benefits, collect required documentation, and liaise with physicians, therapists, RTSs, and clients to secure necessary information and decisions.

In this role, you will work with funding sources to obtain timely authorizations, address payer requirements, and keep clients informed of financial responsibilities, while adhering to NSM

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in Complex Rehab Technology, Medical Billing, or Funding preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage the funding transaction cycle from Ready to Process to Final Funding Approval.
• Verify client benefits and gather necessary documentation.
• Communicate with physicians, therapists, RTSs, and clients to obtain required documentation.
• Coordinate with funding sources to obtain timely authorizations and payer decisions.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and branch personnel to ensure timely processing.
