Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in Complex Rehab Technology, Medical Billing, or Funding preferred.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the complete funding transaction cycle including coding, pricing, and documentation.
• Gather and review necessary demographics and ensure accurate work orders.
• Verify client benefits and communicate information to clients and payers.
• Collect and submit documentation for funding packages (prescriptions, LMN, RTS data, forms).
• Communicate with physicians, therapists, RTSs, and clients to obtain required documents.
• Monitor payer requirements and update the UPD accordingly.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients about financial responsibility.
• Follow up with payer sources to obtain timely authorization.
• Obtain approvals for work order credit exceptions.
• Conduct pre-purchase QA and pre-delivery verification before delivery.
• Coordinate with other funding areas and complete tasks in the Action Required queue.
• Attend NSM University courses and maintain regular attendance.
