Job summary

Capital Group seeks an FRG Associate to deliver valuable equity research insights, build detailed financial models, and support investment decisions through rigorous bottom-up analysis. You will partner with Investment Professionals, analyze companies and industries, and prepare reports for internal review and external discussions.

You will collaborate with teams across Capital Group, manage multiple research projects, and contribute to ongoing development of research tools and visualizations,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, STEM or a related field.
2+ years in equity research or related fields.
Strong interest in long-only investing and bottom-up research.
Familiarity with Python/SQL and data viz tools is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver insights and conduct bottom-up fundamental research and analysis.
Partner with Investment Professionals on their coverage to generate investment ideas.
Research and analyze companies and related industries, build financial models, and draft reports.
Facilitate meetings with management, sell-side firms and industry experts.
