Job summary

Point72 is seeking to recruit for the Point72 Academy 2026 Investment Analyst Program for Experienced Professionals in San Francisco. This ten-month paid training program introduces you to the buy-side and prepares you for a potential career as a Fundamental Equities Financial Analyst at Point72.

Participants rotate with two investing teams, receive mentorship, and gain exposure to research, modeling, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Superior analytical skills demonstrated through work experience and/or graduate education in fields such as finance, law, economics, or liberal arts.
• Ability and eagerness to learn quickly for a potential role as an investment analyst.
• Passion for problem-solving across disciplines.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Commitment to ethics and integrity.
• Self-motivation, maturity, and eagerness to learn.
• Exceptional critical and analytical thinking.
• Undergraduate degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamental research and analysis skills for the analyst role.
• Develop company analyses and modeling with faculty and professionals.
• Learn statistics, accounting, financial modeling, data analysis, and coding.
• Complete a compliance training curriculum.
• Rotate with two investing teams to gain hands-on experience.
• Receive mentorship from portfolio managers and analysts.
