Job summary

BNY Mellon, in Boston, MA, seeks an Associate, Regulatory Reporting to join the Fund Reporting team. You will prepare and coordinate regulatory filings for funds and ensure timely submissions to regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience required; 4 years of total work experience preferred.
• Experience in regulatory and/or financial reporting for investment companies (mutual funds, ETFs, hedge funds, etc.) required. Experience in handling Form PF and/or CPO-PQR is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Confluence Unity (NXT) for preparing, reviewing, and publishing financial/regulatory reports is preferred.
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate drafts of regulatory filings for submission to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and National Futures Association on the client's behalf.
• Prepare or review uploads, GAAP adjustments, or reconciliations to create an initial draft of regulatory filing.
• Liase with appropriate external and internal parties regarding team deliverables and information needed to produce regulatory filings.
• Prepare accurate and timely submission of regulatory reports in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Review and submit approved filing to the regulator by the quarterly deadline.
• Support initiatives to transform existing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• No direct reports but may provide guidance to less experienced team members.
