Job summary

Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. in Dallas is seeking an Associate for Asset Management Public-Fund Services to support fund launches, mergers, restructures and other fund change events.

You will coordinate with Portfolio Management, Sales, Operations and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate execution. Preferred candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years in Asset Management or related fields, with knowledge of fund administration and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with relevant industry experience.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Asset Management and exposure to alternative fund events.
• Knowledge of fund administration and compliance standards.
• Private markets, alternative investment funds, & registered products experience preferred though not required.
• Must work well in a team but also exhibit strong leadership capabilities to help drive solutions to complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Support fund launches, mergers, terminations, restructures and other fund change events.
• Coordinate with Portfolio Management, Product Development, Sales, Operations and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead or assist with technology initiatives to uplift infrastructure, drive workflow scalability and improve controls.
• Draft and agree investment trade flows and ensure readiness of operational systems for trading.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
