Job summary

Star Mountain Capital, LLC, Tampa, FL, is seeking an Analyst/Associate to support financial analytics across private credit, private equity, and secondaries strategies. You will build models, monitor performance, and assist with investor communications, reporting, and fundraising initiatives.

The role emphasizes strong financial modeling, understanding of fund structures, and ability to work with Finance, Investment, Operations, Legal, and Investor Relations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in private credit, private equity, investment banking, leveraged finance, structured finance, corporate finance, valuation, or a related financial role.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain fund financial models to reflect market conditions, deal structures, and fund strategies.
• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance metrics and key financial indicators to identify trends and risks.
• Support strategic fundraising initiatives, including securitized products and customized investor structures.
• Develop and automate reporting tools to enhance transparency and decision‑making across funds.
• Support the preparation of investor presentations and internal reports with data‑driven analysis.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate potential impacts of market changes or investment decisions.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple sources and systems.
