Optimize Search Group has been retained by a leading asset manager with several billion in AUM to identify a Fund Manager to take the lead on launching a new growth fund. This role reports to the CEO and will be responsible for setting fund strategy, raising/deploying capital, and guiding the team who performs the analytics driving investment opportunities. Seeking a highly accomplished M&A/investment professional with broad real estate experience, specifically in the self-storage, multi-family, and industrials space. This comes with a competitive comp plan including very aggressive bonus and equity targets.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic pedigree and will have experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.

• 10-15+ years of M&A/Investments experience in real estate; self-storage and multi-family required
• Track record of sourcing and negotiating deals both existing and ground up development
• Experience with deploying capital, asset management, and liquidation of properties
• Leading the investment memoranda and reporting associated with raising capital, market research, and quantitative due diligence
• Experience leading highly performing teams
• Relocation assistance offered
