Fund Formation Attorney – New York City | Hybrid

I’m working with a leading Am Law firm that is looking to add a 2nd–7th year Fund Formation Attorney to its New York team.

This is a particularly strong opportunity for someone already working within a sophisticated private funds practice who wants to continue doing high-end fund formation work on a top national platform, with an excellent compensation package and hybrid flexibility.

The practice represents both fund sponsors and investors across a range of private investment fund matters, and they're looking for someone who has already had meaningful exposure to fund formation transactions.

What are they looking for?

Ideally, you'll have 2–7 years of private investment fund formation experience, including exposure to:

• Representing sponsors and investors in private investment funds
• Fund formation transactions
• GP and management company / sponsor-level transactions
• Secondary transactions involving LP and/or portfolio company interests

They're particularly interested in attorneys who have trained within the corporate practice of a strong national or international law firm and have excellent academic credentials.
