Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking a Fund Financial Reporting Preparer to support the preparation and review of mutual fund financial statements, shareholder reports, and regulatory filings. Requires 2-4 years of accounting or fund accounting experience, CPA progress preferred, and advanced Excel skills. This 6-month contract is based in Irvine, CA with no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review mutual fund financial statements and shareholder reports.
• Prepare and review supporting workpapers, disclosures, schedules, and audit documentation.
• Review accounting transactions, general ledger activity, and reconciliations in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Assist with financial reporting deliverables and regulatory filings.
• Partner with internal stakeholders including Fund Accounting, Legal, Tax, and Valuation teams.
• Coordinate with external auditors and offshore reporting teams.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with reporting deadlines.

• Experience using DFIN ArcReporting is highly preferred.
