Job summary

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader in New York seeks a Paralegal – Fund Finance to support attorneys through loan transactions, client intake, and closing documents. You will prepare UCC statements, organize signatures, and coordinate lien searches, applying strong organizational skills and attention to detail. This is a billable role with a minimum annual target of 1,650 hours; core hours are 9:00 a.m.

to 5:30 p.m. ET, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably from a large law firm or title company environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required (min. 3.0 GPA) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive paralegal support to Fund Finance attorneys throughout the loan transaction process.
• Assist with client and matter intake and help coordinate information and documentation to open and support new matters.
• Prepare simple loan and closing documents under attorney supervision, including UCC financing statements and signature pages.
• Order lien searches and coordinate receipt, organization, and review of search results.
• Assist with transaction closings by preparing and reviewing final closing documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Manage the signature collection process, including DocuSign and recording execution records.
• Assemble, organize, and distribute transaction documents and closing materials.
• Respond to daily requests from Fund Finance attorneys and coordinate deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.
• Meet the minimum requirement of 1,650 annual billable hours.
