Job summary

Coda Search is seeking a Senior Analyst/Associate for its NYC Accounting & Finance team. The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO and Controller, contributing to a growing finance function and delivering high-quality financial reporting.

Responsibilities include quarterly and annual workpapers, cash forecasting, cash flow analysis, budgeting participation, and monthly close processes. The role requires strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and a CPA-friendly background.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of corporate finance/FP&A experience.
• Accounting or finance degree required; CPA preferred.
• Superior MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with fund accounting software (Investran or similar).
• Budgeting and management reporting experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting processes and financial decision impacts.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a team player mindset.
• Self-starter and independent thinker with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual workpapers and financial statement packages.
• Prepare cash forecasting and expense management.
• Conduct cash flow analysis and assist with budget preparation.
• Participate in the development of budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in quarterly deliverables for CFO and Corporate Finance.
• Participate in monthly close process (accruals, reclassifications, reconciliations).
• Manage day-to-day accounting: Financial Statement Prep and Month End Close.
• Process Cash reconciliations and relevant journal entries.
• Manage cash balances for quarterly capital calls, distributions & receivables and payables.
• Handle special assignments as required.
