Banner Health Foundation is seeking a dedicated and strategic Development Manager, Corporate Giving to expand our corporate fundraising efforts. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio that includes special event fundraising, corporate sponsorships, corporate and foundation grants, and fellowship funding opportunities.
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development Manager will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including clinical leaders and senior administrators, to align corporate engagement strategies with institutional priorities. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills, capable of building meaningful partnerships that support both the mission of Banner Health and the philanthropic interests of corporate partners. They will be expected to think critically and creatively about ways to align corporate social responsibility goals with the healthcare system’s strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include identifying and cultivating new corporate prospects, managing existing donor relationships, and supporting fundraising event sponsorship with a focus on donor engagement and long-term sustainability. The Development Manager will also play a critical role in securing grant funding from companies and corporate foundations. Mon-Fri Exempt Role
Location: Local to Maricopa County, position primarily works remotely with the expectation for client/donor meetings and team meetings at Banner facilities.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position establishes and manages giving programs throughout the organization. This position cultivates both internal and external relationships in order to implement significant fundraising goals. Personally identifies prospects and solicits gifts. Provides leadership, training, and support to management, physicians, philanthropic council members, and community volunteers to implement established goals and objectives.
CORE FUNCTIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of business management or related area as normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree.
Skill level as typically achieved through a minimum of five years fundraising, non-profit or other related experience.
Previous experience in program management. Familiarity with fundraising software to track donors and measure progress against goals.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree. Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification. Prior experience in raising funds for research, medical education, and/or Centers of Excellence. Familiarity with healthcare and hospital operations.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
