Job summary

Blue Owl is seeking a diligent accounting professional to join the GP Strategic Capital team as a controller. You will handle private equity investment accounting, including profit allocation, capital calls, distributions, and fee calculations, along with quarterly reporting.

This role involves day-to-day cash management, forecasting, tax calculations, and coordinating with audits; you will work closely with finance leadership on new products and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in asset management finance or fund controller roles are preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Support GP Strategic Capital with private equity structures including profit allocation, capital calls, distributions and fee calculations.
• Prepare quarterly investor and fund-level reporting and product/valuation control for private equity investments.
• Handle day-to-day operations including cash management and forecasting, ensuring compliance with debt facilities.
• Assist with fund and investor-level tax calculations and tax reporting/compliance.
• Coordinate with GP Strategic Capital on new products, investments and strategic initiatives.
