Job summary

Standish Management in Dallas seeks a Fund Controller to lead financial reporting and administration for private equity clients, coordinating with Engagement Manager on fund accounting, capital accounts, and financial statement prep.

Responsibilities include supervising audit and tax prep, preparing information for capital calls, distributions, allocations, cash flow forecasting, quarterly reporting to Limited Partners, investor data maintenance in third-party software, and some travel to client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Finance/Accounting/Economics concentration preferred.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent.
• CPA is a plus; Private Equity/VC experience and partnership accounting knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of the audit and tax preparation process.
• Assisting with information for Capital Calls, Distributions and Allocations to investors.
• Detailed management and tracking of portfolio company financings.
• Cash flow management and forecasting.
• Assisting with Quarterly Reporting to the Limited Partners.
• Maintenance of investor information in third party software systems.
• Some local travel to Client sites as needed.
