Job summary

Standish Management is seeking a Fund Controller in Walnut Creek, CA to lead financial reporting and administration for our clients. You will coordinate with the Engagement Manager on fund accounting, capital accounts, and financial statement preparation.

The role includes supervising audits, preparing capital call data, and tracking portfolio financings, with travel to client sites as needed. CPA is a plus and experience in Private Equity/VC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Finance/Accounting/Economics concentration preferred).
• 2+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent.
• CPA is a plus.
• Previous Private Equity/VC experience and knowledge of Partnership Accounting, preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word & Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the audit and tax preparation process.
• Assist with information for Capital Calls, Distributions and Allocations to investors.
• Detailed management and tracking of portfolio company financings.
• Cash flow management and forecasting.
• Assist with Quarterly Reporting to the Limited Partners.
• Maintain investor information in third party software systems.
• Some local travel to Client sites as needed.
