Job summary

Standish Management UK is seeking a Fund Controller in New York to lead financial reporting and administration for clients in private equity, including capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.

Requirements include 2+ years public accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting/Economics, and familiarity with QuickBooks and MS Office. CPA is a plus; travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics required.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent.
• CPA is a plus.
• Previous Private Equity/VC experience and knowledge of Partnership Accounting, preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & Outlook).
• Familiarity with QuickBooks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise audit and tax preparation processes.
• Assist with information for Capital Calls, Distributions and Allocations to investors.
• Detailed management and tracking of portfolio company financings.
• Cash flow management and forecasting.
• Assist with Quarterly Reporting to Limited Partners.
• Maintain investor information in third party software.
• Some local travel to client sites as needed.
