Job summary

Atlantic Group represents a client with a NYC-based hybrid office seeking a senior fund accounting professional. The role covers fund financial reviews, investor reporting, NAV activities, capital calls, distributions, and waterfalls, with oversight of the fund administrator and annual audits.

The ideal candidate has 7–12 years in fund accounting, audit, or fund administration (Big 4/public accounting to in-house). Academic background is a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance/business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business at minimum.
• 7–12 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or commercial real estate fields.

Responsibilities

• Review fund financials.
• Support investor reporting across monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
• Assist with NAV, capital calls, distributions, and waterfalls.
• Oversee the fund administrator and assist with annual audits.
• Support liquidity analysis and KPI reporting (IRR, AUM, valuations).
• Contribute to process improvements and respond to investor requests.

You will have the opportunity to help al financial services firm. You will be working out of their NYC office (currently hybrid).

The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of fund accounting OR audit OR fund admin (Big 4 public accounting firm/fund admin to start and then core fund experience in house) experience currently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the review of the fund financials
• Be a key member helping out with the investor reporting process (month, quarter, and year-end close process)
• Help with the NAV, capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, etc.
• Oversee the fund administrator and help with the annual audits
• Help he finance/treasury team with liquidity analysis, KPI's (IRR, AUM reporting, etc.), and complex valuations
• Have an analytical mindset and help out with process improvement initiatives/increasing efficiency
• Respond to investor requests, the Investor Relations (IR) team, and special projects as they arise
