About the Role

Rapidly growing Management Consulting Firm located in New York is seeking a Fund Controller for a full-time position!

The Fund Controller works with other team members to lead the financial reporting and administration operations of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of information and data for Capital Calls, Distributions and Allocations to investors
• Strong understanding of business and US GAAP accounting principles
• Detailed management and tracking of portfolio company financings
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• Assisting with the Quarterly Reporting to the Limited Partners
• Maintenance of investor information in third‑party software systems
• Some local travel to client sites as needed
• Plan, prioritize, and organize effectively to meet required deadlines; adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
• Analytical problem solver; mathematically minded.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required (Finance/Accounting/Economics concentration preferred)
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Previous experience working in accounting that supports funds, private equity, alternatives, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word & Outlook
• Strong technical skills

Compensation

Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr
