Kforce is partnering with a client in the Saint Louis, MO area to identify a Fund Controller to join their team. This on-site role will manage fund accounting, financial reporting, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to enhance reporting capabilities.

The successful candidate will have a 4+ year background in accounting or fund accounting, a Bachelor's degree, and strong Excel and analytical skills.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of accounting, finance, or fund accounting experience; public accounting, private equity, or financial services experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Experience leveraging technology and AI-enabled tools to improve processes, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain fund accounting records, reconciliations, and supporting schedules across multiple investment entities
• Manage capital calls, distributions, cash activity, management fees, and partner allocations
• Prepare quarterly financial statements, investor reporting, and capital account statements
• Support forecasting, audits, tax reporting, and fund governance documentation
• Oversee relationships with third-party fund administrators and ensure compliance with fund operations
• Identify opportunities to improve fund accounting and reporting processes through automation and AI-enabled tools while maintaining strong internal controls
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and reporting capabilities
• Contribute to special projects and continuous process improvement initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Requirements

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
