Job summary

Standish Management, LLC is seeking a Fund Controller to lead financial reporting and administration for our clients. The role works with the Engagement Manager to handle fund accounting, capital account maintenance and financial statement preparation.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of public accounting or equivalent, with CPA a plus. Private Equity/VC experience and strong Excel/Office skills are preferred; some travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics (concentration preferred).
• 2+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent.
• CPA is a plus.
• Private Equity/VC experience and knowledge of Partnership Accounting preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of the audit and tax preparation process
• Assisting with preparation of information for Capital Calls, Distributions and Allocations to investors
• Detailed management and tracking of portfolio company financings
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• Assisting with Quarterly Reporting to the Limited Partners
• Maintenance of investor information in third party software systems
• Some local travel to Client sites as needed

Essential Functions

• Supervision of the audit and tax preparation process
• Assisting with the preparation of information and data for Capital Calls, Distributions and Allocations to investors
• Detailed management and tracking of portfolio company financings
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• Assisting with the Quarterly Reporting to the Limited Partners
• Maintenance of investor information in third party software systems
• Some local travel to Client sites as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (Finance/Accounting/Economics concentration preferred)

Compensation Ranges Annually (varies By City)

• San Francisco: $90,000 - $115,000
• Seattle: $85,000 - $100,000
• Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
