Standish Management, LLC in Chicago, IL is seeking a Fund Controller to lead financial reporting and administration for our clients. You will oversee fund accounting, capital account maintenance, and the preparation of financial statements, in collaboration with the Engagement Manager.

The role requires strong Excel skills, 2+ years in public accounting, and familiarity with partnership accounting. CPA is a plus; private equity experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics preferred.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent.
• CPA is a plus.
• Private Equity/VC experience and knowledge of Partnership Accounting preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of the audit and tax preparation process
• Assisting with the preparation of information and data for Capital Calls, Distributions and Allocations to investors
• Detailed management and tracking of portfolio company financings
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• Assisting with the Quarterly Reporting to the Limited Partners
• Maintenance of investor information in third party software systems
• Some local travel to Client sites as needed

Minimum Requirements

Compensation Range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually

• Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
