Citi in Columbus, Ohio seeks an entry level Fund Administration Intermediate Compliance Analyst to assist in mutual fund compliance activities with the Operations - Transaction Services team. You will prepare documents, verify information, and support client communications.

The role covers regulatory audits, quarterly Board reports, risk assessment, and ongoing training to deepen mutual fund and market knowledge, within an on-site environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with compliance, accounting, finance, or business areas.
• Working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Review daily Post Trade Compliance and Liquidity Risk Management results.
• Develop and maintain understanding of regulations governing mutual funds (Investment Company Act of 1940, Subchapter M).
• Assist with regulatory audits and provide support as necessary.
• Prepare quarterly Board reports.

• Participate in departmental training.
• Demonstrate advanced understanding of mutual funds and financial markets.

Job Overview

The Financial Administration Compliance Analyst is an entry level position responsible for assisting in a variety of mutual fund compliance activities in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. In this role, individuals are responsible for document preparation and verification, as well as maintaining professional, “value added” relationship and communication with internal and external clients.

• Review daily Post Trade Compliance and Liquidity Risk Management results
• Develop and maintain a working understanding of applicable regulations governing the administration of mutual funds. This includes the Investment Company Act of 1940, Subchapter M of the Internal Revenue Code and other relevant requirements
• Assist with regulatory audits and provide support as necessary
• Prepare quarterly Board reports
• Respond proactively to internal and external client inquires
• Participate in departmental training
• Demonstrate an advanced understanding of mutual funds and financial markets
• Special projects, assignments and initiatives as assigned
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
