Job summary

Citi in Irving, Texas seeks a senior leader to manage the NAM Corporate Actions and Product Reference Data team within Funds. You will oversee end-to-end corporate action processing for fund valuations, guide clients through elections, and partner with global teams on transformation programs.

The role requires 10–15 years in Banking/ Funds Services, strong leadership, risk management, and excellent communication to influence stakeholders across regions.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience within Banking, Finance, Funds Services, Middle Office Services, Securities Services, Custody or in a Market Data services organization
• In depth knowledge of Funds Services / Fund Accounting / Securities Services / Middle Office / Custodian / Security Reference Data Management / Product Data Management; Asset Servicing and/or Securities Reference Data is a differentiator
• Experience leading operations and technology improvement programs and client onboarding initiatives
• Proven experience in international and multi-cultural environments
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities (manager of managers)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex corporate action scenarios
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence across stakeholders
• Strategic mindset; translate vision into actionable plans

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the NAM Corporate Actions and Product Reference Data team within the Funds business, providing services to platinum clients of the firm
• Oversee end-to-end process of sourcing, validating, and accounting for corporate action events within Fund valuations
• Provide expert guidance and support to clients in electing on upcoming voluntary corporate action events
• Engage with global, cross-functional partners to drive forward critical Operating and Technology Transformation Initiatives

• Provide expert guidance and support to clients in successfully electing on upcoming voluntary corporate action events.
• Actively engage and collaborate with global, cross-functional partners to spearhead and drive forward critical Operating and Technology Transformation Initiatives.
• Demonstrate strong strategic thinking capabilities, anticipating market and regulatory changes, and developing long-term plans for the department.
• Cultivate and implement a robust and proactive approach to risk management, ensuring compliance and mitigating potential operational and financial risks.
• Effective dealing directly with external clients and internal management at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience within Banking, Finance, Funds Services, Middle Office Services, Securities Services, Custody or in a Market Data services organization
• In depth knowledge of one of: Funds Services / Fund Accounting / Securities Services / Middle Office / Custodian / Security Reference Data Management / Product Data Management. Major positive differentiator will be Asset Servicing and / or Securities Reference Data.
• Extensive practical experience in contributing to and leading significant operations and technology improvement programs as well as client onboarding initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and positive client experiences.
• Proven experience working effectively within an international and multi-cultural business environment.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities. Experience in being a manager of managers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in complex corporate action scenarios.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across diverse stakeholders.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Proactive risk management and mitigation capabilities.
