CLA is seeking an Assistant Controller to join our Fund Administration group in one of our offices. This role supports financial reporting, analysis, and controls within a collaborative national firm.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Records and analyzes client’s financial information.
• Analyzes and interprets financial information that client leaders need to make sound business decisions.
• Prepares financial reports for other groups (creditors, regulatory agencies, and tax authorities, and more).
• Reviews and monitors costs inherent in the business.
• Schedules expenditures, analyzes variances, and may identify corrective actions when necessary.
• Ability to independently prepare financial statements.
• Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements, prepares budgets, schedules expenditures, analyzes variances, and initiates corrective actions when necessary.
