Job summary

Stone Coast Fund Services in Portland, Maine, is seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to join our Fund Accounting team. This role will record and reconcile portfolio activity, calculate NAV, allocate fees, process expense payments and deliver investor reports.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of fund accounting experience for hedge funds.
• Experience with investor accounting systems and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile all portfolio and fund activity for assigned clients.
• Calculate NAV adhering to industry standards and internal procedures.
• Allocate profit and loss to investors; calculate management and performance fees.
• Process fund expense payments and ensure cash wire requests are timely.
• Generate and deliver fund and investor reports to managers and investors.
• Mentor and train fund accountants; ensure tasks are accurate and timely.
