Job summary

Daley And Associates, LLC. is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to oversee fund accounting, financial reporting, controls, and operations across multiple investment vehicles.

The role requires 5+ years in private equity fund accounting or Big 4 with PE exposure, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP. CPA preferred. Salary range $120K-$160K, depending on experience, with opportunity to lead and develop a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in private equity fund accounting or Big 4 with PE exposure.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and private equity fund structures.
• Experience mentoring team members.
• Strong technical accounting, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quarterly and annual financial reporting across complex private equity fund structures.
• Manage third-party fund administrators and review financial statement packages.
• Lead year-end audits and serve as a key liaison with external auditors.
• Review carried interest, waterfall calculations, management fees, expenses, and investor allocations.
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, cash management, and credit facility activity.
• Support investor reporting and regulatory requirements across U.S., Cayman, and Luxembourg structures.
• Interpret LPAs and side letters to ensure accurate accounting, allocations, and distributions.
• Identify and implement process improvements and support special projects.
• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the fund accounting team.
