Job summary

Confidential Employer in Provo, Utah seeks an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to own end-to-end accounting and reporting across multiple investment vehicles. You will lead a small team, manage complex allocations and capital activity, and ensure accurate reporting for LPAs and side letters while coordinating with auditors.

The role requires 3+ years in fund accounting with supervisory experience, advanced Excel skills, and a drive to apply AI tools to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fund accounting or fund administration experience.
• Experience supervising or managing at least one team member.
• Strong understanding of fund structures, capital accounts, allocations and waterfalls.
• Experience interpreting LPAs, side letters, and complex deal terms.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own fund accounting and reporting across multiple investment vehicles and client relationships.
• Manage complex allocations, capital activity, waterfalls, and investor capital accounts.
• Interpret LPAs, side letters, and unique investment terms and translate them into accurate calculations and reporting.
• Perform and review fund-to-GP reconciliations, intercompany balances, and related accounting activity.
• Prepare quarterly capital account statements and support annual financial statement preparation.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support year-end audit processes.
• Review team members' work, provide guidance, and strengthen accounting processes and controls.
• Communicate with GPs, investment teams, and institutional investors.
• Manage multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Use Excel and AI tools to improve efficiency and insight.
