Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Fund Accounting Controller to lead NAV calculations, financial reporting, and analysis for a portfolio of funds within the Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions group. You will oversee all accounting processes, with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and client service.

The role requires a track record in fund NAV accounting, strong GAAP/FASB knowledge, and proficiency with Yardi and MS Office. Dallas-based, role supports audits and year-end activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with fund (NAV) accounting required, with real estate industry exposure preferred.
• Experience with accounting software systems such as Yardi preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and FASB regulations including related terms and principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review NAV calculations and financial packages.
• Monitor daily trading, ledger activity, and pricing of funds to ensure NAV accuracy.
• Prepare financial statements and assist with audits and tax reviews.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and investor reports; review P&L at fund and investor levels.
• Coordinate treasury, cash management, and bank reconciliations.
