Job summary

CAW Network USA in New York City is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Associate to join our financial services team. You will support recurring fund accounting, financial reporting, and investor activity across a range of investment vehicles.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience within financial services, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and CPA or progress toward certification. Public accounting exposure and fund experience are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience within financial services.
  • Experience with investment funds or alternative asset managers preferred.
  • Public accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support recurring fund accounting and financial reporting activities across a range of investment vehicles.
  • Review accounting records, portfolio activity, expenses, and fund-level allocations.
  • Coordinate with external service providers to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Assist with investor activity, including contributions, distributions, and related reporting.
  • Prepare periodic valuations, performance calculations, and financial statements.
  • Support annual audits, tax deliverables, internal reporting, and special projects.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and improve accounting processes.
