Job summary

Ohio State University is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst within the Medicine Finance Operations Office. The role provides professional financial and administrative support, applying accounting principles to budgeting, procurement, reporting, and compliance.

You will prepare financial documentation, analyze revenues and expenditures, and liaise with internal service units and external partners to ensure timely, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional financial and administrative support across budgeting, procurement, financial reporting, and operational compliance.
• Prepare financial documentation, analyze revenue and expenditures, and liaise with internal and external partners to ensure accurate, timely financial operations.
• Contribute to development and improvement of fiscal processes, assist with audit preparation, and maintain financial records according to institutional standards.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and departmental leadership on routine and non‐routine financial matters to support unit goals.
