Job summary

Trident Trust in Atlanta is seeking a Staff Accountant to support Fund Services. You will maintain ledgers, calculate NAV, and deliver financial packages to fund managers for private equity, hedge, real estate, venture capital and digital asset funds.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in accounting, GAAP understanding, and 0–2 years of accounting experience. Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Office is essential; Advent Geneva, QuickBooks, or Allvue a+ and willingness to learn new software are a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (must),
• Foundational understanding of GAAP,
• 0-2 years of related accounting experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) – especially MS Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledgers.
• Download and save supporting files such as bank statements, invoices, and investor documents.
• Calculate monthly/quarterly NAV and performance returns.
• Deliver monthly/quarterly financial packages to fund managers.
• Perform period-end closes along with special reporting for each fund.
• Distribute capital statements to each investor.
• Review new investor subscription packets and perform due diligence for AML compliance.
• Provide daily operational support for funds including wire instructions and wire payments.
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and audit support files.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Senior Accountant/Manager
