Job summary

Investure is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its Charlottesville-based Accounting and Treasury team. This role will own fund accounting, financial close, and investor capital activity across multiple investment vehicles, collaborating with third‑party administrators and investment managers.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of professional accounting experience in a complex environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and ability to resolve complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for fund vehicles.
• Post investment transactions to internal accounting system and reconcile with Fund Administrator.
• Research and resolve discrepancies between accounting records and external books.
• Review market values provided by investment managers and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate and process capital activity for Investure funds.
• Maintain organized accounting workpapers and supporting records.
• Support reporting, audit activities, and fund‑related accounting requirements.
• Provide backup support to Client Accounting and Treasury functions.
