Qualifications

• BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting principles and standards.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with journal entries, GL and bank reconciliations.
• Ability to interpret limited partnership agreements.

Responsibilities

• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger for partnerships.
• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare capital calls and notices.
• Apply LP agreements to reporting and income allocations.
• Maintain knowledge of accounting principles and resolve issues.
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes and management reports.
• Allocate income and expenses to partners' capital accounts.
• Review transactions for compliance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Fund Controller on operations and reporting.

Fund Accountant Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Record journal entries and maintain general ledger for assigned partnerships to ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare capital calls and distribution notices to partners.
• Understand and apply limited partnership agreements to financial reporting and income allocation processes.
