Job summary

Mission Staffing in New York City seeks a Fund Accountant to support private investments and venture capital funds for a $30B+ multi-strat asset management firm. The role involves NAV reporting, investor returns calculations, and coordination with fund administrators.

The position requires 1–6 years of Big 4 experience with private equity or hedge fund exposure, in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid schedule: 4 days in office, Fridays remote, located in NYC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) reports and daily management reporting.
• Calculate and allocate monthly investor returns, including management fees and incentive fees.
• Coordinate with external fund administrators on accounting, reporting, and fund-related matters.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Assist with the management and administration of multiple investment vehicles across various funds, including reconciliations and expense allocations.
• Support the Investor Relations team and other internal departments by compiling data, addressing ad-hoc requests, and responding to investor inquiries.
• Collaborate with technology teams to develop, implement, and maintain reporting tools designed to improve transparency, efficiency, and accuracy across reporting processes.
