A growing alternative investment firm in the South of Boston is seeking a Fund Accountant for a hybrid position. This role is ideal for early-career professionals seeking hands-on experience in fund operations and accounting, with a base salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000 based on experience, plus bonus and 100% paid benefits. The position involves responsibility for various fund accounting activities and requires 1-4 years of accounting experience along with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of accounting experience in fund accounting or public accounting (Big 4 preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel.
• Interest in financial services or CPA track is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily and monthly fund accounting activities.
• Support NAV calculations and investor allocations.
• Perform cash and position reconciliations.
• Help prepare financial statements and reports.
• Assist with audits, capital calls, and distributions.
• Work with internal teams and third-party administrators.

We’re working with a growing alternative investment firm in the South of Boston that is looking to add a Fund Accountant to its team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands‑on experience across fund operations and accounting.

This position is a hybrid role and will pay between 80-95K on a base salary depending upon experience and fit plus bonus and 100% paid benefits.
