Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a Senior Engineer for Program Functional Safety Management. You will supervise convergence of a centralized E/E Architecture and ensure timely delivery of the Functional Safety release across Stellantis’ 14 brands.

You’ll guide safe-by-design platform decisions and collaborate with Electrical, Electronic & Hardware teams to align with standards and policy. This role emphasizes agile delivery, cross-functional leadership, and driving complex embedded systems

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/CS) or related field.
Minimum 8 years of overall experience.
Minimum 2 years in project management for Functional Safety.
Knowledge of Functional Safety standards: ISO26262, ISO21448.

Responsibilities

Steer functional safety convergence across all platform products.
Synchronize with Electrical, Electronic & Hardware Engineering teams.
Coordinate with vehicle project teams.
Collect feature requests, perform technical analysis and assess feasibility.
Support convergence and application of product technical policy per standards and Stellantis policies.
Drive early life cycle delivery through agile methods.
Establish collaboration opportunities with internal partners.
Develop a culture of collaboration, diversity, and inclusion.
