Job summary

Gentex Corporation seeks a Functional Safety Manager to lead FS engineering activities for assigned programs. You’ll deliver FS plans, schedule tasks, and align strategy across programs, while tracking KPIs to measure progress.

Travel domestically and internationally will be required as projects demand. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years in cybersecurity or information security, with strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
• Comprehension of Tier 1 and OEM PS&S-relevant processes and standards.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver aligned FS plans & progress for Gentex projects, by identifying, planning & scheduling all FS tasks for existing and new programs.
• Align and document the strategy on how planned FS activities will be executed.
• Define and track valuable FS KPIs for assigned programs.
• Identify and manage program stakeholders for the planned FS activities and delegate tasks to team members.
