Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Safety Engineer to lead functional safety efforts in ISO 26262 environments. You will apply HARA, FSC/TSC development, ASIL decomposition, and safety case activities across cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in automotive engineering with hands-on FS experience, and familiarity with MISRA C/C++, ADAS/Autonomous Vehicle safety, UL 4600, and SOTIF. TÜV FS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of Automotive Engineering experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Functional Safety experience in an ISO 26262 environment.
• Strong experience with HARA, FSC/TSC Development, ASIL Classification & Decomposition, FMEDA, FMEA, FTA, Safety Case Development; cross-functional collaboration.
