The Functional Safety Engineer will be responsible for creating functional safety standards in accordance with ISO26262 and other relevant industry norms future EE/HW/SW systems must comply with.
This role will be critical in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential hazards throughout the development lifecycle of vehicle systems and components. The Engineer will lead the definition and development of functional safety concepts at the system, hardware, and software levels, and later support validation ensuring that all safety goals and ASIL (Automotive Safety Integrity Level) requirements are met.
