Job summary

ThunderSoft India Private Limited is seeking a Functional Safety Specialist with deep ISO 26262 expertise to lead and deliver major work products of the functional safety program. The role involves performing SOTIF analyses and collaborating with OEMs and suppliers to ensure safety across hardware and software development.

You will support external reviews, advocate safety across teams, and contribute to high-quality safety documentation with strong writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive ISO 26262 knowledge and major work products of a functional safety program.
• 1+ year experience performing SOTIF analyses and developing associated work products.
• Proven track record delivering functional safety analyses of a system or product to improve safety.
• Experience supporting external/third-party reviews of functional safety work products.
• Understanding of safety responsibility between supplier and OEM and ability to communicate issues across the organization.
• Experience with functional safety tools (Medini, APIS IQ) and requirements management tools (Jama).
• Drive to advocate for safety across hardware and software development.
• Excellent writing, verbal and organizational skills.
