Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 2+ years in software-enabled, electrical/electronic, mechanical, systems, controls, or embedded vehicle systems.
• 3+ years of reading and authoring technical requirements or engineering docs.
• 4+ years applying systems engineering concepts in cross-functional product development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global Product Development teams to perform ISO 26262 analysis for new and existing technologies.
• Develop and deliver safety work products: analyses, ratings, concepts, requirements and documentation.
• Identify hazards with SMEs and define safety requirements for safe system design decisions.
• Apply Ford safety processes, methods, and tools to ensure traceability and execution quality.
• Use MBSE and SysML to improve clarity, reuse, and integration of safety analysis.
