Stellantisfinancialservices is seeking an Electrified Powertrain Functional Safety Control Algorithm Design Engineer to join a team of powertrain controls, calibrations and integration engineers. You will develop monitoring algorithms for safety-critical functions in BEV and PHEV propulsion, aligning with ISO26262 requirements.

The Electrified Powertrain Functional Safety Control Algorithm Design Engineer will work within a team of powertrain controls, calibrations and integration engineers to develop monitoring algorithms per E-Gas Monitoring Concept for Gasoline and Diesel Engine Control Units as applicable to Battery Electric and Plug‑in Hybrid Electric vehicle controls architecture and ISO26262 for current and next‑generation electrified powertrains for Stellantis electrified vehicles. The overall goal for the team is to develop a complete electrified powertrain that meets the vehicle functional requirements for fuel economy, emissions, drivability, and diagnostics.
The ideal candidate, who must be a strong team player and willing to work in a fast‑paced environment, will be involved in developing function monitoring algorithms for safety critical functions of Battery Electric and Plug‑in Hybrid Electric vehicles.
