Job Description:

Functional Lead Responsibilities include:

1. Planning: Developing test strategies and plans, and setting quality standards
2. Testing: Performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite
3. Automation: Creating automation strategies and automated scripts
4. Defect management: Tracking defects and ensuring resolution
5. Collaboration: Working with senior clients, technology suppliers, and operational support areas
6. Communication: Communicating progress to senior leadership and participating in discussions with clients and teams
7. Reporting: Consolidating and analyzing test findings and preparing comprehensive test reports
8. Teamwork: Meeting with the team regularly to provide feedback and open communication channels
9. Stakeholder management

Skills:

1. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
2. Experience in conducting end-to-end / Integration testing ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity throughout the data flows and writing test scripts to validate different data workflows, data transformations, data structure, and data mappings.
3. Ability to conduct thorough testing of backend systems, APIs, databases, and server-side logic to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
4. Ability to perform data validation activities, data reconciliation, and data profiling to ensure data accuracy.
5. Ability to perform functional testing of APIs to ensure proper handling of requests, responses, error conditions, and security protocols.
6. Ability to develop and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
7. Ability to run queries and perform database testing and validations.
8. Excellent communication skills and a good team player.
9. Experience with test management tools & Test Automation & Defect tracking tools like JIRA, ALM, Selenium.
10. Experience in testing GCP applications and SAP Hybris is a plus.
