Red River seeks a Product Manager, ERP to lead strategy, roadmap and day-to-day oversight of ERP systems, including NAV/Business Central upgrade and Costpoint governance. The role requires translating finance and technical needs, coordinating with vendors, and guiding lifecycle activities from planning to go-live.
The ideal candidate will drive ERP improvements, manage data integrity, and collaborate across Finance, Accounting, and Supply Chain to maximize ROI and user adoption.
Pay or shift range: $105,000 USD to $160,000 USD
This is a general range for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
The Product Manager, ERP is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day oversight of the company's ERP systems, currently Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) and Deltek Costpoint. This role will lead the upcoming upgrade from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, managing that project from planning through go-live, while also serving as a secondary product manager for Deltek Costpoint. The Product Manager evaluates existing ERP functionality, prioritizes enhancement requests from business process owners, and functions at times as business analyst, project manager, QA/tester, and trainer throughout the system development lifecycle. This position requires strong communication skills to translate between finance/accounting stakeholders and technical implementation teams, and may oversee internal staff and/or external implementation partners for the duration of the NAV-to-Business Central project.
Serve as the primary business point of contact for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central and secondary/backup for Deltek Costpoint
Lead and manage the upgrade project from Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including planning, requirements gathering, partner/vendor coordination, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support
Serve as the ongoing business owner for Deltek Costpoint, including enhancement requests, configuration changes, and issue triage/escalation/resolution
Build and maintain the ERP product roadmap, leveraging business priorities and product/market knowledge
Scope proposed system modifications and enhancement requests for level of effort and return on investment
Partner with Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and other business process owners to gather requirements and prioritize the ERP roadmap
Monitor and continually enhance ERP effectiveness, data integrity, and user adoption across Business Central and Costpoint
Contribute to documentation for projects, bug fixes, testing plans, and application planning
Be highly responsive, flexible and collaborative
Other business duties as assigned
BS or BA in Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience working in Business Operations, Business Applications, or ERP administration/support
Knowledge of standard software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Finance or accounting background
ERP experience — Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (Deltek Costpoint a plus)
Product Management experience
Experience overseeing Supply Chain automation and/or AI initiatives a plus
Experience querying data using SQL
Ability to multi-task across multiple concurrent ERP projects and initiatives
Proficiency in Office 365
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between business and technical stakeholders
Experience managing vendor and implementation partner relationships
This position is an office/home office position that requires remaining in a stationary position for multiple hours throughout the workday. This position requires the ability to continuously communicate with co-workers throughout the day utilizing Red River approved and/or provided communication tools and equipment.
This position will operate from the location specified above, with up to 5% travel to office and/or partner sites.
