National Counseling Group (NCG) is seeking a Functional Family Therapist to work with youth and families, delivering FFT and evidence-based treatment. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized plans, and engage families in active, change-oriented therapy within a structured framework.

Carry a caseload of 10-12 clients, coordinate with school and community systems, ensure engagement, and maintain documentation aligned with the FFT model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Licensed or license-eligible (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the United States.
• Experience with FFT or family-based therapies preferred.
• Ability to carry a 10–12 client caseload and coordinate with families.

Carrying a caseload of 10–12 clients, you will collaborate closely with families and community systems to build trust, ensure engagement, and support long-term success. Your work will include maintaining clear documentation aligned with the FFT model, participating in supervision and training, and delivering direct clinical services that make a tangible difference in the lives of those you serve. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a supportive, mission-driven team while developing your expertise in a proven therapeutic approach.As a Functional Family Therapist, you will provide:Conduct a comprehensive initial assessment to include all desired treatment outcomes, assessment of systemic strengths and needs, comprehensive safety plan, and analysis of contributing factors to referral behaviorsCarry a caseload of 10-12 clientsEngage the entire family unit in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagementImplement problem conceptualization, treatment planning, intervention implementation, case outcome review, and strategy revision procedureMaintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback, and that demonstrate compliance with the FFT modelCollaborate with all relevant systems and key participants within each system to ensure their buy-in and cooperation throughout FFT treatmentProvide direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with the FFT modelParticipate in all FFT training, supervision and consultation activitiesThis description outlines the general scope and level of work for this role.
