Position Overview

The Functional Family Therapist provides mental health assessments and counseling for youth, utilizing the FFT approach. Responsibilities include monitoring youth’s mental well-being, developing treatment plans, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support clinical services.

Essential Functions

• Conduct mental health assessments and provide ongoing treatment.
• Offer crisis interventions and screen for human trafficking concerns.
• Implement treatment protocols and address youth behaviors.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Involve family members in the treatment process when appropriate.
• Create individualized treatment plans based on youth needs.

Education & Experience

• Master’s degree in human services, mental health, psychology, or related field.

• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Background checks clearance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive as needed.

Working Conditions

• May lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
