Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Functional Consultant with strong mainframe skills including COBOL and JCL. You will work on backend DB2/IMS, use ISPW and Control-M for code management and job scheduling, and automate Excel VBA workflows.

Formación

• Must have COBOL/GoLang as Application Language and experience with Mainframe backend DB2 and IMS.
• Proficient in JCL for compile and run and in using tools like ISPW, File-AID, CAFM, DFSORT.
• Experience with VSAM file processing and job scheduling using Control-M; basic knowledge of mainframe automation and Excel VBA macro automation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop software products and research using COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, JIRA and MQ; handle end-to-end development lifecycle.
• Lead all phases from requirements gathering, analysis, development, testing, implementation and support.
• Drive daily meetings/calls with counterparts and ensure timely defect logging and closure.
• Prepare defect logs and track defects to resolution; analyze and manage challenging tasks.
• Communicate clearly, both written and verbal; develop data extraction queries to aid team.
• Ensure millions of records processed daily with adjacent systems; resolve ITSM incidents and report platform stability.
• Document issues and monitoring setup for ongoing visibility and audit purposes.

• Prepared reports for platform stability and visibility of issues
• Provided audit and operational risk event support
• Identified and reported over 250 issues through Jira
• Remediated customer account issues due to missing or invalid data
• Created and updated documentation on relevant issues and for monitoring purpose

Salary Range- $120,000-$130,000 a year
