Job summary

Zone & Co, a fully remote, global SaaS consulting leader in ERP-enabled finance platforms, seeks a Functional Consultant to translate business needs into functional specs and user stories. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, configure, and demonstrate solutions for clients.

With 3+ years in functional consulting and a fintech focus, you will guide implementations, support testing, and participate in pre-sales activities to ensure successful deployments and satisfied customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

The Functional Consultant with Zone & Co will be essential in gathering and analyzing client business requirements and translating them into functional specifications and user stories. This role will collaborate closely with technical teams to design and configure solutions that precisely meet client needs, while conducting product demonstrations and training sessions to ensure effective implementation.

As a Functional Consultant, this role will also assist with testing and quality assurance processes to guarantee solutions are error-free and meet all requirements, and will provide ongoing client support, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary enhancements. Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, the Functional Consultant will document processes and customizations, and participate in pre-sales activities, including solution presentations and proposal development. Effective communication with clients and internal teams will be key to managing expectations and achieving project milestones.

What You'll Do:

• Gather and analyze business requirements from customers

• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met and expectations are managed


• Document processes, configurations, and customisations for future reference


• Participate in pre-sales activities such as solution presentations and proposal - development

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience


• 3+ years of experience in a functional consulting role within the fintech industry


• Experience with enterprise software implementation projects, preferably in areas such as ERP, CRM, or other business applications


• Understanding of business processes and ability to analyse and document complex requirements


• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment


• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills


• Fluency in English required; written and verbal fluency in French is a strong plus (additional European languages are also beneficial)


• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines


• Ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbal


• Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills
